Tell us about your business: We specialize in Commercial Cleaning/Janitorial, Snow Removal and Lawn Services.

Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place? It means more job opportunities for others, an established work foundation for my kids and more income for my family.

What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why? My greatest influence in my business would be my family

What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date? During my divorce of a 16 year marriage, 6 years ago I had a minor stroke then 2 years later I had a heart attack, so that being said waking up everyday and able to spend time with my family is the greatest accomplishment professional or not.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers? Make sure you balance time with family.

What has been the most effective marketing initiatives or programs you have used to promote your businessMy work speaks for itself. I do not do a lot of marketing, I get mostly organic referrals.

What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years? I have learned to be upfront, never misleading. I cover everything with my clients and always make sure everything is in writing.

Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business? If yes, please describe (and include links if available). I love quickbooks for my billing and merchant and wix for my website.

Do you have any new projects coming up (or have you just completed a big project ~ reached a milestone, etc.)? If so, please tell us about it. I am about to take on another business that is different from the cleaning.

What do you do for fun/relaxation? I am a car enthusiast so I try to go to the local car events. I also do modeling and acting when I have gigs, which is my part time job.

What is Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year? I plan to get at least one or two more contracts and to find a partner that can assist me.
