"Pemo Theodore"Meet Pemo Theodore, Founder of EZebis: Winning the Venture Game for Women! (Company is Located in  Silicon Valley, CA)

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do professionally. I am a certificated business coach. I video interview venture capitalists, angel investors & women founders on the shortfall in funding for women.

What do you enjoy most about your profession and why did you choose it in the first place? What was the inspiration for your company/project? I am passionate about female entrepreneurs achieving a level playing field with equal opportunity to access funding for startups & businesses. I had promised to help women entrepreneurs raise funding when my startup was successful. Unfortunately after 5 years pursuing my own dream, an online matchmaking business, I failed to achieve funding. To soothe my grief & put my energy into something positive, I took up the baton & am fulfilling my promise & commitment made for women.

Tell us about the non-profit/charitable/community organizations your company supports? Astia & Pipeline Fund

Why did you choose them? These organizations support female entrepreneurs in the funding process.

How do you support them?I have volunteered for Astia & both organizations use my video interviews to build attention & interest in their cause.

How has your support impacted the organization? The CEO of Astia said ‘Pemo your videos rock!’ and I have helped Astia get speakers for their program from the network of venture capitalists that I now have.

Tell us about any new projects you have coming up (or recently completed). I currently have a crowd sourcing campaign to support us to keep going & growing http://www.indiegogo.com/Support-Women-Startups-get-Funded

What is a typical day like for you? I spend each day editing videos, spreading the word through social media, lining up appointments for interviews, video taping interviews & networking.

What is the biggest risk you ever took professionally and/or the biggest obstacle you have overcome? The biggest risk was starting this project & continuing it.

From where do you draw inspiration? Who have been your role models, mentors, etc? All female entrepreneurs & female venture capitalists & female angel investors who I meet & interview.
