Video of friendship expert Dr. Jan Yager on an author tour to Australia and New Zealand for her book WHEN FRIENDSHIP HURTS talking about friendship, friendshifts, and negative friendships

For the 18th foreign edition of When Friendship Hurts: How to Deal with Friends Who Betray, Abandon, or Wound You, award-winning author, friendship coach, sociologist, and speaker Dr. Jan Yager traveled to Australia and New Zealand to talk about her book on TV, radio, and at speaking events. Dr. Yager’s author tour included Melbourne and Sydney, Australia as well as Auckland, New Zealand. She also did radio phone interviews with live audiences in Perth, Hobart, and other areas of Australia. The topic of friendship has intrigued Dr. Yager, and been the area of study for her, since it was the topic for her dissertation for her Ph.D. in sociology. Her first popular book on friendship, Friendshifts, led to interviews on Oprah, the Today Show, The View, and Sunday Morning. Dr. Yager’s book, When Friendship Hurts, which was written up in the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal, is published in the United States by Simon and Schuster and in Australia/New Zealand by Finch Publishing.

“I created this video because I think it’s easier and more effective to show the sights of Australia, and the experience of an author tour, including short clips of actual broadcast interviews or speaking engagements, through a video than in any other format.” For more information, go to: http://www.whenfriendshiphurts.com
