WE Magazine for Women is Hosting our First Annual Video Competition and we WANT YOU!
That’s right! Our first ever video competition and WE are looking for great videos to share with our readers. Everyone who competes will be able to display their video on our magazine site. And 9 lucky “winners” will be able to espouse the title of BEST Advertising Video, BEST Inspirational VIDEO or BEST Human Interest Video.
WE’s Video Competition begins September 1st 2009 and runs through October 5th 2009 – with Three Categories to enter! They Include: human interest/inspiration, how-to/instructional and Advertising/Promotional Videos
WE Magazine for Women is THE Magazine for Busy Women on the Move. Being featured on our website is an excellent opportunity to SHOWCASE your products and services. On average, our site attracts more than 1,300 unique visitors A DAY! The mission of the Video Competition is to recognize and reward women, women owned businesses and businesses that focus on women in general for their creativity, inspiration and information geared toward women.
When you enter the Video Competition, you have the unique opportunity to share YOUR video with women around the globe as well as your own back yard. WE Magazine for Women is a digital download magazine with a strong online presence in the form of our online magazine style website and blog.
In fact, there are several ways to gain recognition in the WE Magazine for Women Video Competition. First-place honoree in each category will receive a half-page ad in the digital edition of WE magazine for Women for one year (4 issues), recognition on the WE Magazine for Women website, in our media releases as well as claim to the First Place Title.
Second-place honoree in each category will receive a quarter-page ad in the digital edition of WE Magazine for Women for one year (4 issues) in our media releases as well as claim to the Title of Second-place.
Honorable Mention in each category will receive recognition on our website, in our magazine as well as claim to the Title “Honorable Mention.”
ALL qualified entrants will be mentioned in a story by the publisher, on a special thank-you page on WE magazine for women with a link back to the entrant’s website or blog. In addition, all winners will be invited to display the Video Competition Badge on their website, blog and other online mediums
How we will judge entries: Each entry will be judged by a panel of women who currently contribute content to WE Magazine for women, namely our editorial team and contributing editors. In the event of a tie, we will also give “extra” points for videos with the most comments. The more comments, the greater your chances of “winning.”
To enter, follow the VIDEO Competition Rules and submit all content with entry fee no later than October 5, 2009. All complete entries will be considered. Incomplete entries will be discarded and entry fees will be forfeited.
