Tomorrow night, Friday, Sept. 26th at 8pm, Nishi Rajan will appear LIVE on television on the local New York City cable network television talk show India Talks (QPTV Time Warner Cable – viewing details below). The show is doing a feature on Nishi and her Off-Broadway New York City musical The Rajah’s Son & Princess Labam.
ABOUT the SHOW:
Following a very successful KickStarter campaign, I am happy to announce The Rajah’s Son & Princess Labam, will open Nov. 7th Off-Broadway in New York City at the Medicine Show Theatre. The show will run for 3 weeks, Fridays and Saturday nights at 8pm. Rehearsals began in August, there is a cast of 25+. I not only wrote the 2.5 hour musical play, I am directing and producing it as well. Attached you will find the official flyer for the show along with a cast photo of almost the entire cast save for 4 actors 🙂
Tomorrow night, tv audiences will meet not only myself, but meet also Zach De ‘Epey – my friend & filmmaker in whose indie films I am currently starring – he plays my monster Jeevan and is also filming the reality tv documentary series on the production of the musical that will begin airing soon. Audiences will also meet my talented actors and friends Indio D. who plays my father in the musical, King Suresh, actress Noa Carmel who plays Durga, Saim Hyder as Dharmendra, Swayam Bhatia as Little Princess Labam and Princess Lola and also meet Caitlin Boyle who plays Fakir Rabeena, Lydia Kalman as Fakir Rowena and actresses Olivia Roldan, Isabella Lopes and Tess Hintelmann who play Princess Labam’s younger sisters Princesses Leela, Layla and Lily.
