Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?
Being a business owner means the buck truly stops here. No excuses. It also means calling the shots and having freedom and flexibility. I became an entrepreneur initially because I was jealous of several entrepreneurs who I knew. How’s that for brutal honesty?! They made their own schedules. They were challenged…I liked that! This is actually our 4th business in the last 10 years! So I really embraced entrepreneurship!
What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why? My greatest influences in business are many!
I am an avid reader and constantly trying to grow and learn. I read everyone and everything as it relates to growing the business, providing ultimate customer service, etc.
What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?

What is Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year?
We have a new website in the works and a new retail business. The goal is to have both up and running in the next 6-12 months. There, I said it!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
There’s a quote from Michael Jordan that says the reason he is so successful is because he failed so many times. How do I interpret that? Try. Follow your dreams. If you fail, you will learn. And you will get better.
