Interview with MaryAnne Robertson, Executive Director/ Independent Distributor StemTech HealthSciences, Inc.
Tell us about your business.
I have the pleasure to introduce people to StemEnhance, a patented botanical extract clinically shown to increase the number of circulating stem cells by an average of 25%. Stem cells are at the core of the body’s natural renewal system, traveling to areas of the body in need.
Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?
I have been a self supporting artist for almost 40 years and am quite used to having the freedom of a home business. I like to work when I feel like working, I love to be able to go and work in my garden, to do things that I enjoy doing. But and artists income is not always the highest.
I have always had a great interest in good health and I like to help people. That is what attracted me to
StemEnhance. I could help people both physically and financially. And as a result my income has increased too.
What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?
This is my first experience in referral marketing and I have paid great attention to my upline Izzy Matos. With 30 years of experience in the business he has a great deal of knowledge to share. He has not only helped me learn the business but has always been there supporting me. We have become dear friends. Izzy taught me that you cannot fail, you can only quit. With his support it has been easier to go forward.
What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
Much to my surprise I received the Award for Most Personal Group Volume 2006. I was brand new , inexperienced and so busy building I did not even realize that I was doing so well until my name was called at the Annual Convention. Boy was I surprised!!!.
What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?
My friend Tamera Campbell told me that it is the people who stick with it that do well in this business. I have found that this is true. Many people give up very early in the game and go off chasing the next shiny business. This is a business. It takes time and focus to build it.
What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
I have learned that I am responsible for my successes and failures. If I sit back and wait for things to happen then nothing changes. I must go forward .
Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you succeed?
StemTech has been very good about providing us with training materials so that any one can tell others about the products and business. We don’t have to be an expert because it is all done for us. My favourite is the WealthBuilders system.
What is Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year?
It is my goal to rise in rank to the StemGem Level while continuing to help others.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Working together with others is very powerful. If we help each other we all succeed.
