Founded of January of 2012 by Stephanie Hansen. Thru the tough times of finding out her mother had breast cancer to creating a space to help her mom and in the process thousands of other family,Bravelets™ was born. To date more than 2,000,000 dollars has been raised on the site.
Some of the causes currently being represented include: Alzheimer’s Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Lung Cancer Awareness and more.

More about the company: Bravelets™ is not a non-profit organization. Based in Austin, Texas, they are a for-profit company with giving at their core. According to their site: “We believe in transparency. We believe in making a difference. We don’t believe in the phrase “a portion of proceeds will be donated….” What does that mean?
