In fact, the company’s founders were just nominated for Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” Australia award! Here is a bit more about the company:
In 1998, at age 23 and 28, Adina and Ethan left positions in the fashion industry to take advantage of a gap in the digital protection market. “We set out to make a super protective laptop bag that didn’t necessarily look like a laptop bag,” explained Ethan. “Today, we see ourselves as the IT specialists for the bag market and the lifestyle specialists for the IT market,” added Adina.
STM Bags has a variety of cases, bags and sleeves created to meet a variety of lifestyles.
- Grip collection – Colorful, rugged, stylish and durable case for long-lasting protection
o Line for iPhone, iPad and MacBooks
o Line for Samsung Galaxy S4
- Velocity collection – Newest collection of laptop bags and sleeves designed to protect and carry digital gear
I chose the turquoise axis medium laptop sleeve to review.
I chose that bag because I recently purchases the Sony Vaio 14 inch laptop and was thinking it would be great for carrying it (instead of dragging my laptop case on wheels).
The bag arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and beautiful. The size on the description says “fits most 15 inch screens.” Unfortunately it does not fit the 14 inch Sony Vaio laptop computer. However, I would still recommend it to anyone based upon the quality alone. Just be aware that sizing can be an issue. I would recommend calling the company and asking which size fits which product you have so that you won’t be disappointed or have to return/exchange the bag.
Here is the rest of the product description:

NOTE: Although the bag did not work for my laptop, it is still a beautiful bag and will be used in an upcoming fundraiser for Women in Ecommerce – The Golden Mouse Awards. WECAI has a silent auction and WE magazine is the media partner so WE are donating all our product review items to it. A portion of the proceeds will go to PACE Center for Girls – a worthy cause that helps young girls get a better start into adulthood.
