My Pupcakes is a start-up, having only launched its first product in late June 2017. My Pupcakes makes and sells cake and cookie mix for dogs. There is nothing like this on the market – these mixes are a world first! My Pupcakes is the brainchild of qualified dog trainer, Mia Montagliani, and was born out of her quest to bring more joy to her two Manchester Terriers (Frodo and Ziggy) – her mission is always accomplished when they scarf down her baked goodies!

About the Founder:

Mia Montagliani is a qualified dog trainer and author of several dog training books. Mia lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her two Manchester Terriers, Frodo and Ziggy. Mia has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), majoring in English literature and a Masters of Law (LL.M) from Deakin University. Fun fact: Mia’s most thrilling experience is skydiving at 15,000 feet (which she will never do again!)

About the Product:

Families always include their beloved dogs in their day-to-day life. We walk them, play and cuddle with them, and sometimes we even share the same bed with them! But there is one thing our dogs usually miss out on – our baked treats. While women often love the convenience of baking for their families using store-bought mix, such treats are not good for dogs. Therefore, dogs are usually stuck with the same old scraps, old bones or funky smelling dog good. Women – including mums and their children – can now have fun baking for the family dog with Canine Carob Cookie mix. The ingredients are human-friendly too, so the kids can even lick the spoon when the baking is done!

The mix makes about 50-60 cookies and can be stored in an air-tight container in the pantry or fridge for 2-4 weeks. The cookies can be given to the dog as occasional snacks, rewards for good behavior, or special treats at family celebrations.

Note: we made these for our American Bulldog Jack and he loves them! I plan to order more as this is a healthy alternate treat to all the processed treats available in local markets and pet stores.
