Recently I had the privilege of trying Essentia Water. The company sent me 4 bottles to try and review. And by the way, I rarely drink bottled water. I like old fashioned tap water on ice. Drinking 4 to 5 glasses a day my glass is always full and ready for when I need hydrating.
However, when Forte PR contacted me about the water and I started reading the health benefits associated with Essentia, I decided to give it a try. And I am glad I did. As waters go, it tastes, well like water! One thing I liked about it is that it didn’t have any after taste I often find in bottled waters. It was really refreshing and I loved the fact aht they sent me 3 different sizes to try. I was able to refill the smaller bottle and take it with me on my walks and bike rides. It was perfect. I cannot tell a difference health-wise from the small sampling I received, but I do plan to purchase and keep it in stock from now on.
About Essentia: Essentia is a high alkaline, non-source water. It was the first functional bottled water to be mass-produced in the U.S. Essentia is currently the no. 1-selling bottled water brand in natural foods (think Whole Foods), and the fastest growing top 10 premium bottled water in grocery. Its success is helped by the recent surge in health-conscious consumers embracing the benefits of functional beverages, one of the fastest growing retail categories. Full fact sheet attached. The Health Benefits of Essentia: “Most bottled waters have a pH factor of 7.0, which is neutral. Most human bodies are in a highly acidic state due to factors like stress, diet and harmful environmental contaminants. Over time, a high level of acidity can result in a loss of bone density, muscle strength, and can also negatively impact critical organs such as the kidneys. Consuming an optimally alkaline, high-pH water helps to neutralize the body’s ongoing acidic condition and restore it to a more balanced state. Conventional thinking in the health and wellness community is that disease and infection cannot live in an alkaline environment.
Essentia Water comes in single-serve bottles, multipacks or cases. Bottles range in size from a 20-ounce sport-top with retail pricing starting at $1.19 to a 1.5-liter bottle that retails starting at $2.29.
Available nationwide, Essentia’s network of retailers includes leading natural food stores such as Whole Foods, Sprouts and Vitamin Cottage. In grocery, Essentia is available in leading retailers such as Publix, Safeway, Stop & Shop, Kroger, Albertsons, H-E-B, Raley’s and many more.
