Tell us about how you chose your career/business and what your responsibilities include?
Ever since I was a young girl I wanted to live life differently. I wanted to create something of my own while at the same time inspiring and empowering other people. I’ve always been creative and loved to design and create, so when I started traveling the world after high school and absolutely fell in love with nature and exploring and realised I was changing and transforming personally more than I could have ever imagined, I started a travel-personal development blog before I went on my first trip. It was so much fun to share what I learned and knew about traveling and personal growth that I decided to start write ebooks about it and create smaller products to share my wisdom and experience with others. Because I got so much good feedback and really enjoyed what I did, I decided okay I want to help people have this same amazing experience of life that I had and empower them to go after their dreams.
Over the years of traveling the world, studying sports and neuro science and expanding on my own personal growth and wellbeing journey I realised that what was holding most women back from creating the life and career they want was fear, not knowing how or what and lack of self-worth. And that was when I knew, this is what I want to help people with.
Now I am coaching and mentoring women across the globe on how they can be happy, successful and fulfilled in life and career through what I call the 5 facets of change: Mindset, Mindfulness, Manifestation, Personal Growth and Healing.
I don’t only coach them 1:1 but have multiple digital products to help them improve on their journey and overcome their personal limitations.

Tell us about the company you work for or own?

The DreamLife Project is a fast growing lifestyle brand that focuses on empowering women to pursuit careers and lives that make them happy. We create content and products that make women thrive in sports, career and life such as online courses or one on one mentoring programs. We believe that we all deserve to achieve greatness and live our dream lives but sometimes we hold ourselves back and so the DreamLife Project is here to help you overcome those limitations, whatever they are.
We focus on the 5 facets of change since we believe and have learned through research and experience, that working on them is what it takes to be successful.
The 5 facets of change are:
  • Personal Growth: Learning to master yourself and engaging in self-discovery
  • Mindset: Managing fears, doubts and limiting beliefs
  • Mindfulness: Creating a good balance between work and life, listening to your body and being present
  • Healing: Increasing self-worth and confidence
  • Manifestation: Improving your manifestation powers, action taking, goal setting and productivity
All those things help us to discover, start or expand on the careers and lives we truly want.

What are some of the most fulfilling projects you have been involved with so far?

I love teaching people how to surf and travel and giving them insights into my journey. Ever since I was 16 I worked in a surf camp each summer for multiple months teaching 6-60 year olds the art of surfing and that was pure joy for me.
I also love my Instagram community, they are truly the most amazing humans on the planet and I love to give them bits and pieces of advice and support them where I can.
Lastly, wherever I go on my trips I always try to engage with local communities. My time in South Africa for sure was one of the best and most rewarding times, the local communities are incredibly and I loved to share my love and joy with them.

Are there any people in your field you would like to meet and/or work with and have not yet had the opportunity?

One of my biggest inspirations is Boho Beautiful, the founders Mark and Juliana are incredibly and motivate me greatly share the importance of mental health and wellbeing with my community. I love their generous and humble way and it would be an honour to meet them one day.

What are some of your favorite ways to network?

I love social media, it opens so many possibilities and you get to meet amazing human beings all over the world. But my most favourite way is still traveling, going out there and exploring is one of the best ways to connect and meet new people from all across the globe. Every time I am some where new I try to engage with both the local communities as well as other travellers and throughout my 6 years of travel experience I have met some of the most wonderful people I could have ever met.

Do you have a mentor – if so how did you choose one another?

I absolutely believe in the power of mentorship. I have multiple mentors, some close some far away. Some of my biggest idols like Boho Beautiful or Cassy Ho are definitely influencing and giving me pieces of advice without knowing. However, my brother and dad are probably my most influential mentors. I turn to them whenever I seek advice and they push me beyond my comfort zone which is exactly what you need, if you want to achieve greatness.

What have you learned from your mentor? What do you hope to learn?

I’ve learned to believe in myself and to go after what I want. But then again for me in mentorship it’s more about the small pieces of advice that you need in your current situation. I love to know that they have my back and support me whenever I need. That alone is all I need as a natural high achiever.

What’s been the most surprising thing that has happened to you so far in your career?

The way in which I have grown and evolved was probably the most surprising thing in my career. I believe that nothing is more rewarding than seeing your own personal transformation. But then also the response I got when I first started out from my friends and family as well as my online community was beyond what I could have ever asked for.

What do you do for fun/relaxation?

Usually I travel the world, workout or go for a surf. But I also love to meet up with like minded people or read a good book. Everything that happens in nature is pure relaxation for myself. I love to be outdoors and active or treat myself to some delicious home cooked meals. For me fun and relaxation has always been a bit different than everyone else’s, I don’t enjoy going out so much but I love to learn about other people and new cultures.

Any parting advice for someone who would like to follow in your footsteps?

I always say to my clients who are on the edge of jumping into a life and career they feel pumped about, all you need to do is believe in yourself, work on your mindset, step out of your comfort zone, keep putting in the work, engage in energy work and stay true to yourself. One way or the other, if you keep doing all those things, you will succeed.
