Meet this week’s Woman on the Move, Brittany Walker, 200K VIP Brand Promoter & LV Millionaire
Tell us about how you chose your career/business and what your responsibilities include?
My career in network marketing began 2.5 years ago and it was truly an industry that I “fell” into while working full-time in the banking industry as an SBA Loan Officer. I discovered Le-Vel in May 2017 when my friend introduced me to a product known as Thrive. I was looking for more energy and mental clarity, so I ordered from her as a customer, and within a month I decided to launch my own business with Le-Vel because I was loving my experience on their products. Within 4 months, my organization achieved the highest rank and we became the fastest growing team in the entire Company.
As a 200K VIP Independent Brand Promoter, my responsibilities are to market and promote my personal journey and Thrive Experience, while coaching and mentoring my team of over 8,000+ Brand Promoters to achieve their personal health & finance goals. I share the business opportunity with others by leading with our product & allowing it to make a difference in people’s daily lives.
Tell us about the company you work for or own?
Le-Vel Brands LLC is a health & wellness direct sales company that launched in 2012 by co-Founders Jason Camper & Paul Gravette. Their vision was to create a company, a brand, and a product line known for it’s commitment to premium-grade raw ingredients & a premium lifestyle for their Independent Brand Promoters.
Le-Vel is one of the first direct sales companies with no brick & mortar locations, operating with a complete cloud-based infrastructure. Le-Vel is the creator of the Thrive Experience, the fastest growing health & wellness movement in the world.
What are some of the most fulfilling projects you have been involved with so far (include your non-profit/volunteer work here)?
I am extremely passionate about fighting against child and human sex trafficking. This year I decided to lock arms with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), an organization dedicated to the permanent eradication of child sex trafficking through coordinated rescue & recovery planning. My current goal & project is working with O.U.R. and my internal network to launch an Orlando-based campaign & fundraising team in 2020!
Are there any people in your field you would like to meet and/or work with and have not yet had the opportunity?
I would love the opportunity to meet Eric Worre and Tony Robbins. Eric Worre is known as the Network Marketing Pro and I spent many late nights watching his Youtube videos & learning as much as I could about the industry and how to be successful. Tony Robbins is also a famous network marketer & motivational speaker that has inspired me tremendously throughout my journey.
What are some of your favorite ways to network?
Social media! When I launched my Le-Vel business in 2017, I had no idea how powerful social media is when used as a networking tool. These days, people use social media as a way to stay in touch with old friends, meet potential dating prospects, market their businesses, and it’s basically a virtual networking event that operates 24/7! I love networking online to build and grow new business relationships.
Do you have a mentor – if so how did you choose one another?
My mentor is also my close friend, Dani Angelo, who originally introduced me to the world of direct sales & network marketing. I watched her quickly advance from a part-time waitress at a local Italian restaurant to a Top Leader of a multi-million dollar direct sales company, and I knew I wanted to lock arms with her leadership and guidance.
What have you learned from your mentor? What do you hope to learn?
I’ve learned so many things from Dani, but the first thing that comes to mind is – HUSTLE. No matter how successful you become, or how much money you make, she has taught me that continued success comes from working this business everyday and consistently showing up for your team as a leader!
What’s been the most surprising thing that has happened to you so far in your career?
Three months after launching my Le-Vel business, I discovered I was pregnant. SURPRISE! That was certainly not part of my “plan”! My husband and I were recently married & he had just joined the U.S. Army when we found out I was pregnant, so we weren’t even living in the same state! My pregnancy threw us both for a loop, but it pushed me that much harder in growing my business over those next 9 months because I was determined to retire from my banking career before becoming a mom!
What do you do for fun/relaxation?
I love going on weekend getaways with friends & family! I try to plan at least one trip a month, even if it’s just a quick 3-day trip to Miami or St. Augustine! I love exploring the “local spots” of new cities and my most recent trips have been Austin, TX and Atlantic City, NJ!
Any parting advice for someone who would like to follow in your footsteps?
My best advice is, avoid “dipping your toes in the water”, and just dive right in! You don’t have to be an expert to become a Millionaire, trust me, I’m speaking from experience. Too many people get caught up in planning and they don’t spend enough time executing. Be yourself, build genuine relationships, and be confident in sharing what you are passionate about- your business!
