Holly Buchanan is the owner of Buchanan Marketing LLC, a consultancy specializing in marketing to and selling to women. I write the blog Marketing to Women Online. She is also the co-author (along with the fabulous Michele Miller) of The Soccer Mom Myth – Today’s Female Consumer: Who She Really Is, Why She Really Buys.
Her new book Selling Financial Services to Women will be out at the end of 2010 Holly’s specialty is understanding the differences between men and women brain differences, communication style differences, how they respond differently to advertising and sales messaging and make purchasing decisions.
Holly has two missions:
1. Help companies and individuals be more successful in their efforts to genuinely connect with and sell to women. Holly helps people break through stereotypes to truly understand and portray women in a more realistic and positive light.
2. Help professional women be more successful in their efforts to work with and sell to men. Holly uses all the same research on the differences between men and women, but focus on how men’s brains work, male communication style and male decision making processes. With greater understanding between men and women comes greater appreciation and more opportunities for men and women to work together to create stronger leadership and better results.
