Tell us about your business.I target people wanting to supplement their income or make a living full time online.
Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?
My motivation was my children. I wanted to attend every event that I could in their lives growing up.
What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?
My parents! They both worked what seemed 24/7 only to provide the best for our family. The pay offs were great family vacations, the best of clothing and everything material but they were not available for me. Because of this I knew that when I had children I would work out a way to have the best of both!
What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
Winning two awards from eBay Inc. The first was the Hall of Fame award and the best was from eBay Giving Works: Golden Ribbon award because of my role with nonprofits. Both awards were presented to me in 2008 in Chicago.
What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?
Set goals! Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and what I call “Dream Goals” You can juggle it all as long as you set goals!
What has been the most effective marketing initiatives or programs you have used to promote your business?
Social networking before it had a name I was doing promoting myself through the power of what I call “Group Marketing.”
What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
When the market is HOT, sell your wares! Don’t site on the goods thinking you will make millions later! My motto “Sell a heap and sell it cheap” , “Move it in, Move it out” I don’t believe in sitting on inventory over a long term.

What do you do for fun/relaxation?
The Beach! The beach is my best friend as it soothes my soul with each visit. I keep a picture of it as my screen saver and goal is to own a home with a view of a beach!
What is Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year?
To have my own TV show!
You want to write a book onMarketing yourself online: I already have the idea in motion as I feel there are styles to social marketing in addition to online marketing. Many are going over the edge and I feel there is a smooth way and a sincere way to go about it. My book is touching on those ways as I focus on a hot tool that is overlooked by many.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Last year I launched a membership site called: VirtualOnlineLearning.com and this site is providing online education 24/7 with weekly webinars. Our first year has been a success and I would like to offer a special for the readers of your magazine.
