Triple Threat:  Ripping Up the Romantic Novel Rule Book – New Steamy Romance Ticks All The Boxes and More

Alice R Bishop’s graphic romance, Triple Threat, finds Annette in the arms of not one but two hunks – Ryan and Max.  Believing life couldn’t get any better, will the dark secrets held by both her love derail Annette’s plans to keep her head down and shine in her new job?

She says: “II have always been a keen reader and from the age of eight I could read most things. During my school years I always had on my report card for English ‘Alice has a wonderful imagination, I wish she would stop daydreaming and put her imagination onto paper.’

“For many years I have wanted to be an author, but it wasn’t until Covid-19 lock down hit did I really give it a go. The stress of coping with the lockdown amongst many things caused me to have a flare up with my fibromyalgia, but even with this I struggled forward writing my manuscript. A few times I nearly gave up, my body hurt and my brain felt like it had cotton wool inside of it, but I managed to complete it.

“I also have a son with ASD who makes my world brighter every day, part of the reason I stuck with writing even though I have plenty of ‘nay sayers’ is because I want to show him that dreams should be followed and worth achieving.”

What was the most difficult part about writing the book? What was the most rewarding?

The most difficult part for me writing Triple Threat was part way through writing I began to have a fibromyalgia flare up which made it painful to sit at my computer and write, I nearly gave up as I was in so much pain, even my brain began to hurt at one point and I could not think straight. The most rewarding part was when I got the email to say it was going to be published, I actually began to believe in myself and my writing talents.
