Rita J. Cartwright Southern is the founder of RJ’s Internet Marketing Services, LLC, which was launched on October 1, 2002 under the name of RJ’s Word 
Processing Services. Cartwright Southern initially offered word processing services; however, she gradually began to complete more internet marketing projects for her clients as opposed to word processing projects. Her education in marketing and having to market her business online provided her with the necessary internet marketing skills. In 2010, Cartwright Southern updated her business name to reflect her new service offerings.
Cartwright Southern became an entrepreneur totally by accident. After graduating from Arizona State University, she was hired by Sears as a Retail Sales Manager. Soon thereafter, Cartwright Southern realized that retail management was not for her. Sears did her a favor by firing her. Cartwright Southern recognized that her passion was marketing not retail management. After two years of seeking employment to no avail, Cartwright Southern decided to start up a home-based business, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Cartwright Southern short-range goal is to help and empower women, who are victims of abuse, by training them to operate their own home-based business. Cartwright Southern’s future goal for her business is to hire these women upon completion of their training. Her financial goal is to become a six-figure-plus firm.
