Women in Ecommerce™Florida Chapter is hosting the second annual Fundraiser and Awards Ceremony taking place on October 10th, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:30pm to honor women with the GOLDEN MOUSE AWARD who successfully use the web/technology in business and in life, while we raise funds for a local charity. The organization will be honoring women in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties as well as one International Honoree – Linda Pereira, President of CPL Events located in Cascais Portugal with offices in Lisbon and the Azores.
Linda Pereira is the senior partner and CEO of the L&I Communications Group. In addition to her long and respected career as one of the most influential voices in the Meeting Industry, she is also Executive Director of CPL Events. Respected internationally as a speaker, writer and as an educator, she is continually being invited to speak to professionals in the Business Travel Sector and has lectured in countries such as the USA, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, Egypt, Cape Verde, United Kingdom, Dubai, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Brazil, South Africa and Germany, to name just a few.
She is also the only female ever to be invited by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to speak at a national event. She has worked on the major events which marked the last 30 years from EXPO ’98, EURO 2004, World Stage Fencing Championship, three EU Presidencies among others. She has played an active role in many major events and bids for world events. She is also an invited lecturer for the Masters Degree in Strategic Meetings Management at three different international Universities. She is recognized for her efficiency and professionalism and thinking outside the box.
In addition to all her other responsibilities, Linda is also the Travel Editor for WE Magazine for Women as well as International Liaison for Women in Ecommerce.
