Honey Almond Scrub

This Honey Almond Scrub has a refreshing peppermint touch that will exfoliate the skin and make it soft and smooth.
3 Tablespoons Almond meal (sometimes called Almond flour)
2 Tablespoons  Jojoba oil
3 Tablespoons Honey
3-4  drops of peppermint essential oil
Directions: Pour Almond meal and Jojoba oil into a small glass bowl or jar.  Stir well.  Mix in the Honey and Peppermint essential oil.  Stir mixture until completely mixed together.  Before applying, cleanse the skin.  Apply to moistened face. If necessary mix a few drops of water into palm of hand with the scrub 9don’t add the water to the mixture in the bowl).  Scrub gently avoiding the area around the eyes.  Remove with a warm washcloth.  Splash warm water onto face to remove excess scrub.  Use once a week.

Rosemary Honey Hair Conditioner

The winter season can wreak havoc on hair making it feel and look like straw.  Try this nourishing conditioner that combines honey to make hair shine; olive oil to put back lost moisture and essential oil of rosemary to stimulate hair growth.
• 1/2 cup Honey
• 1/4 cup warmed Olive oil (2Tablespoons for normal to oily hair)
• 4 drops of essential oil of Rosemary
• 1 tsp. Xanthum gum (available in health food stores)

Directions: Place all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into a clean plastic bottle with a tight fitting stopper or lid.  Apply a small amount at a time to slightly dampened hair. Massage scalp and work mixture through hair until completely coated. Cover hair with a warm towel (towel can be heated in a microwave or dryer) or shower cap; leave on to nourish and condition for 30 minutes. Remove towel or shower cap; shampoo lightly and rinse with cool water. Dry as normal and enjoy shinier, softer and healthier hair the natural way.  Shampoo and rinse well…
