WE Magazine for Women Cover Story Competition Entry Form

Thanks so much for entering the Family Business Cover Story Competition! Here is the information you need to successfully submit your story.

Below are 12 questions we ask you to respond to. Please be as open and direct as possible in your replies (without giving away an trade secrets of course). Feel free to expand your answers to suit your unique business.

In addition to the questions which by the way, you can answer individually or tackle together and reply as a “unit,” please submit 3 photos (jpeg, 300 dpi).  We need one of the the entrant and family members working together if possible all those who are subjects of the entry (a more professional shot) and two additional pictures of you “on the job.” These can be of you together or individual doing your respective responsibilities at work.  Please include no more than 5 photos and your interview (please keep questions intact when replying).  If we need additional info we will send you a follow-up email.

STEP 2 ~ In addition to above completed format, please submit the following:

DO NOT SUBMIT ATTACHMENTS!  All Attachments of any kind will automatically disqualify entrant.  If you are not sure how to submit a link, please consult your webmaster.  If you have your photo stored on your website, you may submit the URL of the page it is stored and we will determine if we need an additional photo.

Winners may be asked to submit additional photos for the inside story. Entrants will be asked to submit an online link to the photo (photo must be high-quality resolution to be considered for the cover ~ at least 300 dpi of the Entrant).

Deadline for submission Midnight (EST) April 7th, 2010. No exceptions.Reminder: All decisions of the judges are final.  Entry fees are non-refundable. Entries become the property of WE Magazine. By submitting your entry (including entry fee) you are giving permission to WE Magazine for Women to use your story in our digital magazine and/or on our website. Submission into our Cover Story Competition does not guarantee your story will be used either online or in our digital editions. (VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW)

Please note submission of entry form, etc. does not guarantee you placement in our digital magazine. It does however give you the opportunity of being included in our online magazine and mention in upcoming stories. We reserve the right to reject any entries we deem unsuitable for our audience. If that is the case we will notify you in writing and issue you a 50% refund on your entry fee.

Note: Be sure to check for accuracy, spelling and style BEFORE submitting entry form.  Cover Stories will be judged on the responses which includes substance and accuracy. Total word count: no more than 1,200 words including Questions.
