Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing one of my favorite people and dear friends, Angela Andreola. The conversation was so good we decided to share it online with the readers of WE Magazine for women.
Let me tell you a little bit about this women on a mission to educate women about car repairs and maintenance as well as how to work in a male dominated field, Angela Andreola.
Angela Andreola is very well known in her industry as an auto repair industry expert & educator. In fact, she has been called a “pioneer” in the male dominated auto repair industry. For the past 15 years, she has run her own company, a state of the art, automotive repair and full restoration shop. Angela’s shop specializes in Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche & Rolls Royce.
This business was started with a dream, a great partner & one client. Last month, her company celebrated its 15th year in business! She built this company on a foundation of integrity, & has had its rewards, ABS Exotic Repair has a 5 star review status and has loyal clients traveling miles to bring their cars to Angela and her team.
Angela is the founder and instructor of the trademarked series of classes: “The Car Clinic For Women.”® This educational program, a first of its kind at the time, was featured in dozens of newspaper, magazine and TV programs. Angela has been active in the community as a popular guest speaker and has written educational programs for the Girl Scouts of America as well as many other groups and organizations.
Today, Angela remains active as a speaker & author of many popular business and automotive topics based on her 20 years of business experience.
In this special interview Angela talks about being a woman in a male dominated field, how she became interested in the auto industry in the first place and what her biggest challenges (and triumphs) have been. She talked about the evoluton of the Car Clinic for Women™, gave some valuable business tips for women thinking of going into business as well as those already in business, and more.
