"Are Low Calorie Sweeteners Really Bad for YOU?"Do they cause weight gain? These are the questions we keep hearing yet struggle with.

Research presented this week at the IUNS 20th International Congress of Nutrition in Granada, Spain, suggests that when combined with a healthy diet, being physically active and adopting other healthy behaviors, using low-calorie sweeteners to reduce calories is a winning strategy for improved weight management and better health.

This research was presented by Adam Drewnowski, PhD, Professor Epidemiology, University of Washington, Director of the Center of Public Health Nutrition, Director UW Center for Obesity Research.
