Are You Travel Ready?

Let’s say you’re getting ready for the long flight to Paris, Venice, or Australia. Your lists are made, credit card companies have been called, and the house sitter knows all your information.

Here are just a few more things to think about.

You want to look good when you arrive. Right? That means you need to book all your necessary appointments before you go. If you get a regular manicure…book one just before you leave. Facials? Book that as well.

Prepare for all that time in the dry air of the airplane by extra hydrating at least several days in advance. Eat some whole foods like dark, leafy greens, whole grains, and lean protein.

Keep up your exercise routine before you go.

Pack essential skin care items.

In your carry-on bag, pack some extra skin care items like lip balm, lotion, and vitamins. Have an empty water bottle you can fill once you get through security. Be sure to have some healthy snacks with you.

Don’t forget your electronics and their chargers. Update your packing list as you think of things you need to take.

Take copies, paper as well as electronic, of all hotels, flights, transportation, and identification information.

Keeping a master list of things to do as well as things to pack saves some time when planning for your next trip.
