Those "two-fer" exercises help when time is at a premium. Good time management techniques. And the hula-hoop! I could do this as a kid, but tried it recently when playing with children and found I need some practice. It's interesting that there was such a difference in measurements from your efforts. That's encouraging.

The "hula hoop"! Now, that brings back fond memories. I could hula hoop practically all day when I was a child. I have purchased hula hoops for my daughters when they were younger but they don't seem to be great quality -- they bend too easily and they don't have the same wonderful sound!

Anyway, I think I'll try out these exercises you've outlined above and buy myself a good sturdy hula hoop to rock this body back into shape!
