		<description>Denise,

I love using a timer to get things done as well when blocking off time for projects. It helps to keep me on track better. Sometimes I have set the timer for 15 or 20 minutes for tasks as blogging or social networking so I can keep tabs on my time better.

Another thing that I do that has helped me alot regarding my time management and productivity is writing down 5-6 tasks that I really wish to get done in my day. This way I don't have a huge list that looks too long and I am setting myself for disappointment. With the 5 or 6 items, I get those done and it allows me to focus on the accomplishments of the day. And then I allow myself to add other tasks one at a time on the list to complete. That way I don't get overwhelmed and it still allows me to get things done.

Great article!

Sincerely,
