1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. I am the Amazon.com bestselling author of “31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles” a book that has taken me to Internet Marketing stardom after a 22 year history as an entrepreneur in the software and eCommerce arena.  I am a CMA – Certified Management Accountant and I started my first company directly after college at the age of 19 in 1985, and I have seen every computer and internet trend first hand.  During my successful journey as the president of 4 companies, once I started having children I moved the office home and became an advocate for being a work from home mom raising her kids – a lifestyle that has been a dream come true.  I have been nominated for awards such as Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year, and Chamber of Commerce Business woman of the year, and have received international acclaim for my eCommerce software products.  My life really changed when I moved just last year to sunny California in the Hollywood area and announced I was pursuing life as an Internet Marketer – and I moved my  offline skills into an online world using information I had researched and mentors I had invested in. I am being hailed a “Quantum leap specialist”  as the rate at which I accelerated in the Internet Marketing arena was astounding and within my first 6 months I had won “Internet Marketing Success Of The Year,” (which included an all-expense paid trip to Singapore where I presented my success story to 3400 attendees, I wrote a book and it became a bestseller ALL in 58 days, and within the last year became a highly sought after International speaker, motivator, copywriter, coach and mentor with my most recent trips involving Singapore, UK, Malaysia, New York City, and many points in between Canada and the US.  My book has recently been picked up by a New York publisher, and is in foreign rights negotiations with 7 additional countries. And from the US, I still manage to run the Canadian Federation of Poets, and Poetry Canada magazine, 2 initiatives I started to raise the profile of poetry and poets within Canada and around the world, a passion I have to help teach poets, writers, authors and entrepreneurs to market their knowledge to produce automated income streams and help get their positive message out. Marketing Makeover Miracles is one of my many websites, and is part of a corporate branding initiative that involves a landing page, sales page, and blogging activities.  So for every product I release, I integrate it into that branding strategy with another landing page (which is a way to communicate with permission to interested visitors), and a sales page, along with my blog.  This allows me to directly target an audience with keywords and appropriate domains that all focus around my core which is internet marketing and wealth creation for financial freedom.

2. In your bio I read that you a volunteer minister with volunteerministers.org.  Tell us how you got involved with VM and what type of volunteer work you do? As a volunteer minister it is a position that we, myself included take on as an everyday helper. What we are taught can range from how to help a coworker handle stress and overwhelm by getting them organized and handling ‘decisions they haven’t yet made that are hanging them up, to helping others cope with loss, grief, illness, hospitalization, fatigue, children, finances, marriage, it is a real-life, full-scope ability to handle any situation. It is really a trained commitment to help our fellow man when we see they need it. Because we are trained for an amazing range of situations, we achieve real results, not just provide advice, but give them solutions that will work from this moment on, and they are aware of it. On an extreme level, we are the world’s largest independent relief force on earth, and get called to every disaster situation as quickly as Red Cross. Members have served at 9/11, Tsunami, Katrina, every disaster we have volunteers show up and help, and more importantly – stay. Members to help Tsunami victims stayed for 2 years and helped them rebuild. We also get called for events such as the Olympics to help with athletes, and deal with any issues that arise. Every situation is a full call to all members, and whoever is available, goes.

3. You also support Artists for a Better World.  Can you tell us about that organization? Artists for a Better World is an organization designed to bring together all artistic mediums, and showcase the talent. The primary criteria is a desire through your art or literary efforts to enlighten the world about peace, hope, faith, help, kindness, generosity, and that the work produces a more positive outlook of a person who sees it and incites them possibly to carry on the message.  It is a nurturing  group that believes artists, actors, creative people are among the powerful forces that can help to shape our culture through their dreams, desires, and visions. One person can make a difference, and when you know that, you can do something about it.

4. You mentioned that you started your first software company at age 19.  How did that come about and what got you interested in the first place?  There was a large age gap between me and my brothers, about 11 years, and they were heading to college to do computer programming.  I was always going to be a writer, but never considered that could be a career I started with. So I followed in the Path of my brothers, and went to SheridanCollege and graduated as a programmer. During my last semester, a very awesome thing happened. The Colleges went on strike in Ontario, and there was no school. I went and got a part-time job with a company that had just bought an accounting system and needed it to produce very complex reports. I was hired to create these reports, and do the data entry for their accounting. After finding out more about this organization, and the fact that there was 119 of them that would all want to move from their out-sourced methods to in-house. I saw this as an opportunity. I was doing a minor in accounting and business, and combined these skills to open up a company while I was still in college, and I hired myself out to this organization as a consultant when school resumed. This gave me the flexibility I needed to call my own hours, and show up to do the work when I could. I continued here as a consultant, and then started the company by contacting those other organizations and repeating what I had done for this one. Later I went on to get my Certified Management Accountants designation (CMA), and serve on the provincial board of governor’s as one of the youngest-elects to that point to raise my profile from ‘kid running a company’ to entrepreneur.

5. I am fascinated with the work you do in Internet Marketing, tell us about that and include any honors and recognitions you have received. How do you become interested in Marketing, specifically internet marketing? How I became interested in marketing was it was originally thrust on me – in my software company that role wasn’t filled, so I took it on and started writing direct marketing sales copy, learning about copywriting, getting training on it, learning how to do press releases, how to create relationships with media, and then how to translate that to our corporate websites.  In our early days we even developed a piece of software (before Winfax), that did the same thing – fax to all of our customers and dealers on a weekly basis to keep them up to date – so even then I knew relationship building was important.   Then from an internet marketing perspective, instead of it being something I was forced to do out of necessity, I sought it out.  I was looking for a way to take what I did to a larger scale, and the internet easily fit the bill.  Originally I was only doing direct sales copywriting for our own internal stuff, but I thought what if I offer this service to others, specifically as it pertained to landing pages. I embraced this technology because you could see the results statistically so quickly, so you knew right away if a headline or campaign was working.  I enjoy getting to know the client and converting their mission into copy that makes cash.  The other thing I like about Internet marketing is the way I get to integrate my personal experiences into almost everything I write, and find that it is a very effective method of marketing.  After that I took it a step further, and became the brand identity for my endeavours – so created the blog tracyrepchuk.com as a personal brand, and coupled it with my site marketingmakeovermeastro.com as my ‘niche’ brand, and now the two of them serve to let people know what I do, and that obviously I stand behind it, because I am standing in front – personality based marketing – Trump, Oprah, Martha Stewart, Rachel Ray is the new paradigm and I have simply jumped on board and maximized it for myself and my clients.

6. What are some of the trends you are noticing in your industry today? Internet marketing is an area that changes constantly, and you have to be activeIn keeping up with what is going on around you, especially if it might affect you.  It’s an industrythat is so specific that colours, fonts, words, keywords and acceptable items are fluctuating basedon statistical analysis.  The big thing last year was blogs and social media, and both of thoseare on the uptrend even more. For right now – landing pages and sales pages are standardizing with video and audio, whereas just a year ago that was in the infancy and caused a great debate.  Social media is the next wave to be standardized with web 3.0 technologies creating structured levels of access to someone.  For example you would have levels 0-9 – in that 0 you can see what I post for everyone, level 3 you can see some personal stuff, level 7 they can talk to you and you post messages about anything, especially from a training, coaching and mentoring perspective and level 9 is full access to you – with a system that will also handle payments – so it will be like a membership-based system as well – in that lower levels are free, upper levels may be a charge.  On top of that will emerge complex traffic generation strategies that will really expand your exposure and increase results. The other trend I am really noticing, and I like very much, is more people are realizing how important a part their mindset, thinking process and outlook have on how well they do in business and in life, and are seeking ways to improve themselves in this arena.  There is a greater trend even in the internet marketing arena that mentor programs are addressing both issues – first the mind, then the teaching and application. You can accelerate much faster at both if your mind and you are ready for it.

7. What books are you currently reading? Here is books and courses I am currently taking: (I time split my day into specific categories of learning)How to be a Millionaire Platform Speaker – by James MalinchakHow to Make Big Money as a Speaker – by James MalinchakThe Power of Story – Jim LoehrIt’s All Too Much – Peter WalshThe New Art of the Leader – William A CohenThe ABC’s of Writing Fiction – Ann CopelandFundamentals of Thought – L Ron HubbardThe One Minute Millionaire – Robert G AllenThe 4-Hour Workweeek – Tim FerrissMade to Stick – Chip and Dan Heath

8. What one thing would you like to learn this year? I don’t know if I can say just one thing, as I learn every day, as an active pursuit.  If there is one thing though I think that would really help to accelerate how well I do this year, that would be to really become an expert and effectively learn and apply the techniques of being a platform speaker that motivates.

9. Do you have a secret passion or obsession? If so, do tell!  My secret passion is to be able to be stably exterior as a spiritual being from my body.  I have friends that have achieved this state of beingness, and I can see the power they have and the calm and inner peace they  emanate at all times – and it is the perfect way to live.  It is the way we were in the very beginning, and Iam on a mission to get it back.

What else would like readers to know about you?  About your company? I am happily married for almost 15 years, have 3 amazing kids, we moved from Toronto Canada and now live inBurbank, CA and I spend much of my time enjoying life in various ways. We are Scientologists and do our activities at Celebrity Centre inHollywood, CA. I’m excited to continue my world-wide travels with my extensive speaking schedule this year, and in many cases I am taking the whole family with me when I can to places such as Australia. My next book coming out is called “Watch Out! There’s a New SHEriff in Town! How to Win at the Wild, Wild Web”which will teach women how to turn their passion into profits while intermingled with my story of how I became  a power in 3 male-dominated fields I entered; computers, accounting and internet marketing. All that I do revolves around a big purpose that I carry to improve the conditions of myself, others, mankind, and the Planet so that we can all live free, flourish and prosper in harmony and total peace.  I invite anyone who wishes to join me in this quest, to do so, and find activities in your area that can get you started on making the world a better place for all of us.  I have been deeply touched this year at the outpouring of emails I get thanking me for my book, or a blog post, or article or when I speak, or the information that I share about myself, and it always goes to remind me that we are not alone in this journey, and that we can make such a difference in peoples’ lives by sharing what we know, and what we have done.
