Interview with Angela Andreola, President ~ The Carlady, Inc  and ABS Exotic Auto Repair & Restoration

Tell us about your business.
My audience is anyone who drives a car on today’s highways who would like to learn to save thousands of dollars in auto repair &  car ownership expenses thru life skills training. Let me explain, I specialize in money & life saving educational programs for Tweens, Teens + parents, Seniors & Women drivers. My newest program is a Mommie & me educating moms to keep kids safe as passengers. All courses are interactive & designed to educate, empower & save lives.

Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?
I wanted to create an auto repair shop that made auto repairs a pleasure, my vision & dream was to fill an unmet need. We just celebrated our 15th year in business. After spending so many years running a successful business, I discovered my real passion is sharing my knowledge with others.

What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?
The women who worked so hard & gave up so much  to pave the way for me to be in my position.

What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
That is not so easy to answer but I am going to try. I have spent five years writing the book series:” The Diary of The Auto Repair Lady”,

I made the decision to only provide the books as part of an education program versus trying to sell a million copies to anyone who would buy them.  In other words, dedicating years to a project whose goal was not about money, but about a purpose.  Don’t get me wrong, I am a business person, and if there is a sponsor who would like to purchase a million copies for those who need to learn, yet cannot afford it I am all for it, my point is simple, I wrote from the heart.

If one of my new programs saves one life or is the reason just one person decided to become a safe driver who respects their car & others on the road, then I have accomplished something worthwhile. Once I started writing, I kept going. I have developed a life skill education program that has many effective tools to teach anyone at any age .  I even offer a subscription service via teleclasses, so my students can keep learning after completing any of my programs.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?
Be sure that you have a true passion for what you do for a living, as the years go on, it will get you thru the disappointments of life.

What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
Tell it like it is & you will never go wrong. In other words, be true to yourself & never sacrifice your integrity.

What is Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year?
I have 3 new programs based on my books,  that I feel very strongly about,  &  I would like to see those programs be very successful. The programs I am speaking of are:

The Teens + Parents or Adult mentor = safe drivers.

And Mommie & me Are your kids safe with you at the wheel?

And of course Don’t get Taken by your Ride, the program for women of today.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
What goes up, comes down. No matter how successful you think you are, remain grateful and humble.
