Meet Elvira Amankwa, Founder of the Total Woman Breakthrough Forum

Why are you putting on the Total Woman Breakthrough Forum at a time like this?
More than ever, women need to position themselves now for what is going to happen in the future. If you start thinking what you want to do and how you will do it when the turnaround is in full swing, it will be too late. You need to be ahead of the game and position yourself now, so when everyone sees the light at the end of the tunnel, you are already on the upward move with determination, power and knowledge. It is our desire to help women get their game plan in place now.

What’s the idea behind this women’s forum?
It’s largely a reflection of my own quest to be the total woman I am destined to be. I realized that only if I nurture and develop all aspects of life, I can be that and do that.

Why is this not your regular women’s conference?
Women are tired of the same old “talking to you” conferences. This is a time to be heard and interact with other women who have transformed their lives and want to share the keys that helped them. And the best way to discover the power and potential within in through interaction with other women.

What can participants expect?
Exclusively for women, by women, this forum is a powerful catalyst to transform women’s lives. Two days can change the course of your future forever and transport you into the happy, successful life of your dreams as a total woman. No more feeling fragmented, stuck, and discouraged. The time has come to break through.

The forum takes place right at the beach in Hollywood Beach/Florida. Why did you choose this particular location for your event?
We wanted to create an atmosphere of warm hospitality and relaxation for a distinguished get-away experience, as it is so important to sometimes step away and leave it all behind to make new discoveries and gain new ground.

For those women, who would like to take advantage of the special conference room rate of $145/night, please call the Marriott directly at 1-866-306-5453.

As far as other interactive and fun program points are concerned, what else is going on during the forum?
There will be facilitated networking sessions to help the women really connect, build relationships and enlarge their network. The sessions will be run by an experienced coach who will guide the women. We will also have two panel discussions where we take audience questions to provide answers from women to women, from heart to heart on “Wealth & Security” and “Health & Wellness”.

Great fun is the free mini spa on site to stop by for a hand or lip treatment, an aromatherapy wrap or a chair massage. The live Heart Art Studio will be there also with inspirational heart art.

Not to forget a hands-on novelty make-up presentation and fun style show where we learn to put together a wardrobe.

Can you tell me what the Exhibit Hall is about?
The Exhibit Hall is a place where we will have a select number of exhibitors to help women in their quest. There only will be a limited number of exhibitors, because this is more about connecting and building a relationship than it is about swapping brochures and business cards. It’s a place where the women can exchange ideas and learn from each other.

If you offer services that are geared towards women and would like to be part of this, please feel free to email elvira@impactcreationevents.com.

Why a black and white gala dinner?
It’s time to celebrate! This conference is about new breakthroughs, new insights and new friendships. That’s why we decided to set a special time aside to go all out and have a ball in grand style. It’s a great way to round out this fantastic conference experience and to top it off with a bang. Enjoy delectable culinary creations, create unforgettable memories with old and new friends and have one great night of splendid fun. And what’s the best thing about this is that the gala dinner is included in the conference registration.

Is there anything you would like to share with other women?
This whole forum came together by women talking with each other, by women connecting and by women sharing their passion and expertise. There is incredible power that comes from this. Don’t miss out. Tap into this and be part of it. Join us on May 13 and May 14 at the Marriott Hotel in Hollywood.

“Break away to break through and become the total woman you are destined to ...

The Total Woman Breakthrough Forum takes place at the Marriott Hotel on Hollywood Beach, Florida on May 13 & May 14, 2010

“Break away to break through and become the total woman you are destined to be.” Elvira Amankwa, Conference Founder

Its official now: according to a recently released survey by Pew Research Center, women are the key household decision-makers. When it comes to deciding on major home purchases, managing household finances, and other decisions, women are very much involved and often in charge. The survey found that for 43 percent of couples, it is the woman who makes more decisions at home.

Also outside the house in today’s labor force, we see a similar trend. Ellen DuBois, a professor of women’s history at UCLA, says the presence and significance of women in the labor force is a steady development and that “now the standard working woman is a married woman with children.”

In the business world as well, women are taking their stand as entrepreneurs and business owners. “The Index [a recent study commissioned by the Center for Women’s Business Research] shows that women business owners are a resilient group, who pay careful attention to their business and to the trends in the larger economy,” says Beverly Holmes, chair of the Center for Women’s Business Research.

And successful they are, this “resilient group”. Look at some newly released key facts about women-owned businesses:
• 10.1 million firms are owned by women (75% or more), employing more than 13 million people, and generating $1.9 trillion in sales

• Three quarters of all women-owned businesses are majority owned by women (51% or more), for a total of 7.2 million firms, employing 7.3 million people, and generating $1.1 trillion in sales

• Women-owned firms (50% or more) account for 40% of all privately held firms
One in five firms with revenue of $1 million or more is woman-owned With women on the rise, the flipside of the coin is obvious: women are exposed to unprecedented pressure in this day and age. Women are bombarded with increased responsibility, more tasks and heavier strain. Women suffer from physical and mental problems.
Women experience emotional stress, feeling burnt out, stuck and fragmented.

That’s why Elvira Amankwa, wife, mother and President of Impact Creations created the Total Woman Breakthrough Forum, a transformational and fun learning experience with the dynamite potential to transport women into the successful, happy life of their dreams as a total woman, complete and whole in all areas. Exclusively for women, by women, this one-of-a kind event is a powerful catalyst to transform lives in 2010 and beyond. The forum is sponsored by WE Magazine for Women, Nothing but Good News Radio and The Holistic Rejuventation Center in Aventura with WOMEN (Women Owners, Managers, Executives Networking) of The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce being the Presenting Sponsor.

There is great power as like-minded women gather in a supportive atmosphere to discover, to learn, to inspire, to grow, and to play. Dynamic woman speakers with proven knowledge and powerful insight communicate effectively life-changing strategies into the lives of other women. The fast moving schedule includes actionable teaching sessions, power-packed presentations and interactive panel discussions.
On both conference days there will be facilitated networking with an experienced coach to help you enlarge your network, to truly connect and to forge new friendships. Participants will benefit from the unique synergies among successful and aspiring women, where creative ideas flow freely like melted gold in an open environment.
To maximize the experience, additional program features include a free MINI SPA (get ready for pampering chair massages, soothing aromatherapy treatments, rejuvenating hand, eye and lip treatments in a calming atmosphere), free fashion and make-up shows, an Exhibit Hall with select exhibitors as well as a Speaker Lounge for easy access to our champion speakers. Committed to excellence, the forum organizers have partnered with the very best.
On the last evening of the forum, participants celebrate good times in grand style! “A Black And White Affair” rounds out this fantastic conference experience. Ready to top it off with a bang, guests are invited to come decked out and dressed in black and white. Tantalizing drink specials are served before dinner. There are delectable culinary creations to enjoy, unforgettable memories to be made and one night of splendid fun to be experienced by all.

Last week I had the pleasure of hosting not one, or two but 5 teleconferences on a variety of topics ranging from Bartering, Creating a follow up system, Increasing event attendance, Marketing Inventions and Designing One Page Websites. It was all very exciting.

Each interview was filled with great information and value to the listener. Were you among those lucky people who participated? If not, you have a second chance to learn from these four of these experts.

All you need to do is leave a comment with a link to your website. Everyone who does so will receive a little visit from me. And I will leave the links to each of the recorded interviews.

BTW, you had to register for the one on increasing meeting attendance so if you are interested in that interview, drop me a line at heidi (at) wecai.org and I will tell you how you can access that interview.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Would you like to know the “secrets” to transform your business from a small business endeavor to a multi-million enterprise?

Do you want to achieve financial freedom and peace of mind?

Some of the largest companies in the world today started as small one-person businesses in their home office, garage or the back room of another business.

Did you know there are common elements that most millionaire business owners share?

Join us Friday May 2, 2008 (tomorrow) for two exciting Interviews!

9:30 AM Eastern Time (8:30 Central, 7:30 Mountain, 6:30 Pacific)

Unconventional Wisdom from a Woman with a Vision for an Invention that Sold Millions! An Interview with Tomima Edmark, Inventor, Entrepreneur and Author

Tomima Edmark is the inventor of the wildly successful TopsyTail, a hair accessory for women that she marketed by herself to revenues of $150 million. This extraordinary product earned her instant fame among the nation’s small-business set and put Edmark on an entrepreneurial path that continues today. She has since developed a series of additional consumer products, written several successful books and created a variety of e-commerce Web sites. Along the way, she became known for her entrepreneurship and was featured on television shows and in business publications like Good Morning America, Oprah, Forbes Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal.

In 1999, Tomima realized there was a gap in the options women had to buy lingerie; our choices were department store, lingerie boutique or mail order. Why shouldn’t we have the same ease buying bras that we had for, say, tee shirts or music? An entrepreneur with a series of unconventional successes, Tomima turned to the internet and HerRoom was born. For Tomima, HerRoom isn’t just about shopping for sexy lingerie. She wants women to find the styles and sizes that fit them best—for all body types and tastes.

With a BFA in Fashion Design and an MBA, she uses her left brain and right brain to understand both the design and business of the women’s lingerie market. Tomina is going to share how she got the idea for TopsyTail, her journey to taking her invention to market and the steps she took to that led to its ultimate success.

1:00 PM Eastern Time (12 Noon Central, 11:00 AM Mountain, 10 AM Pacific)

“Your Marketing Message – It’s In Your Hands” with Beth Davis, The Hand Analyst, – “The Palm Pilot for the Soul of Your Business.”

Did you know your life purpose is in your hands? Well, it is!

Once you’ve identified your life purpose, your ‘marketing purpose’ becomes a breeze. Without a clear focus and direction, marketing becomes a difficult, time-consuming task. But it doesn’t have to be that way! And Beth Davis, is going to show you another way.

Let me tell you about Beth:

As heard on KPFK Radio Los Angeles, NPR, and Radio Europe and in interviews with the Los Angeles Times, Women’s World, Cosmopolitan and many others, Beth is dedicated to bringing the brilliance of hand analysis to you so you can discover that your success literally lies in the palm of your hands! Beth can help you discover your true calling through her inspiring one-on-one hand analysis sessions, Hand Analysis Master Mind, hand analysis training workshops and home-study information products.

Beth also owns a full-time coaching business helping spiritually-oriented entrepreneurs, coaches, consultants, healers, artists, speakers and authors create “Life Purpose” centered businesses that are profitable AND purpose-full.

Beth trained as a coach with Coach For Life. She calls hand analysis the “Ultimate Coaching Tool” for helping clients make accelerated progress in their unique business niches.

Be sure to drop by Beth’s web site, www.HandAnalyst.com to take your Life Purpose to the next level. Beth will show you the path to success – it’s not always what you think!

There are two ways to attend these sessions:

To join online in our web conference room visit http://www.wecai.org/eWednesdayChat.exe – there is a small but safe download which you can save to your desktop to access at the right time.
