I am a woman, who started my professional life as a medical doctor working for 14 years in my home country of Spain. Frustrated with the “fixing” world, I left my career in a traditional medical practice to support my own “spiritual awakening” and the yearning I had to release our human suffering. My passion today, is to support women to wake up spiritually through our Feminine Path. I am an expert at empowering women to honor their Feminine Essence and to unfold their Feminine Presence. I support women to discover their True Self, to liberate their Shadow Self, and to master their Creative Self so they can feel their authentic Power, Love and Beauty and be a real gift to the world. In 1994 I moved to the USA and I now love to work and live with my partner in Florida, sailing and traveling to Europe to visit my son while offering my Feminine Coaching-workshops and Creative Questions presentations.

What do you enjoy most about your profession and why did you choose it in the first place?

What I enjoy the most about my profession is to witness the enfoldment and power of the Feminine Presence in my participants and clients. I chose my profession from a place of letting go of what was not my passion (to temporary fix situations or physical problems) to inevitably following my call to wake up spiritually. My financial support is used to support Gangaji to travel and offer her Satsangs which a believe raise the frequency of consciousness for all of us.

What is the biggest risk you ever took professionally and/or the biggest obstacle you have overcome?

Many years ago I left my Medical Doctor Practice and jumped into becoming a spiritual-life coach, a total unknown territory for me at that time and where spirituality and business where not yet united..

From where do you draw inspiration? Who have been your role models, mentors, etc?

What one thing would you like to learn this year?

To surrender to the flow and divine intelligence of Self with more trust.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Traveling around the world offering conferences to women who are ready to unfold their authentic power. That, will embrace the wounds of our people and this world with a Feminine Presence that can transforms and completely liberate our conditioning so that we can finally be in the instant, fresh and open to the call of the moment. I see myself inspiring women to live fully and passionately, not only the “nice” aspect of life but also the “terrible” aspect of life with the same love and grace allowing the natural transformation that occurs when we face the “darkness” with our light. I go to the beach or nature. Talk with my girlfriends. Deep communion with my partner. Take care of our home and garden. Dance sensually. Read spiritualy awake authors. Sailing. Visiting my son. Cooking. Deep conversations about life with my friends and family. See movies about real life. Shopping for myself, my friends and home. Creating and painting practical things. Travel with my partner.

We know we should do this but something holds us back. In some cases, the barrier is our upbringing and the messages we were given since childhood. This negative chatter in our heads tells us that people won’t like us if we brag and it’s not right to toot our own horns. We should be humble and wait to be recognized. Unfortunately, these limiting beliefs sabotage our business and career potential.

Another barrier might be the lack of confidence or belief in ourselves and our product and service. If we truly believe that we have something of value to offer why wouldn’t we let the people who could benefit from our services know about it? If we had the cure for the common cold or some other disease, wouldn’t we let people know so they wouldn’t suffer? Would we hide it and wait for them to guess? Yet that’s often what we do. We don’t let people who need our services know our value proposition.

I see the consequences of this every day. I’ve known women who have great businesses but can’t attract new clients or women who are passed over for promotions because they are waiting to be recognized for their hard work.

Here are some tips to keep connected with your value:

1. Keep a success journal. Each day enter what you accomplished that day that you are most proud of; anything big or small. At the end of the week, review your entries and summarize. What does this say about me? Write some positive affirmations based on your successes and read them aloud each day.

2. When you hear the negative chatter in your head, hit the delete button and insert a positive affirmation. We all have the choice to listen to negative thoughts that sabotage our success or positive affirmations that support our efforts to reach our full potential. Choose the empowering path and propel your career forward.

3. Focus on how what you offer benefits others. This mindset helps to reinforce the value and gives us more confidence to promote our products and services.

Its official now: according to a recently released survey by Pew Research Center, women are the key household decision-makers. When it comes to deciding on major home purchases, managing household finances, and other decisions, women are very much involved and often in charge. The survey found that for 43 percent of couples, it is the woman who makes more decisions at home.

Also outside the house in today’s labor force, we see a similar trend. Ellen DuBois, a professor of women’s history at UCLA, says the presence and significance of women in the labor force is a steady development and that “now the standard working woman is a married woman with children.”

In the business world as well, women are taking their stand as entrepreneurs and business owners. “The Index [a recent study commissioned by the Center for Women’s Business Research] shows that women business owners are a resilient group, who pay careful attention to their business and to the trends in the larger economy,” says Beverly Holmes, chair of the Center for Women’s Business Research.

And successful they are, this “resilient group”. Look at some newly released key facts about women-owned businesses:
• 10.1 million firms are owned by women (75% or more), employing more than 13 million people, and generating $1.9 trillion in sales
 
• Three quarters of all women-owned businesses are majority owned by women (51% or more), for a total of 7.2 million firms, employing 7.3 million people, and generating $1.1 trillion in sales
 
• Women-owned firms (50% or more) account for 40% of all privately held firms
One in five firms with revenue of $1 million or more is woman-owned  With women on the rise, the flipside of the coin is obvious: women are exposed to unprecedented pressure in this day and age. Women are bombarded with increased responsibility, more tasks and heavier strain. Women suffer from physical and mental problems.
