Here is a brief interview with Candy Coburn, singer, songwriter, artist.
What is your goal for Pink Warrior?
—-My goal for Pink Warrior is to reach as many people as possible – to bring awareness and attention to breast cancer research with hopes to someday soon end breast cancer for all.
“Pink Warrior” is a fighter song. Tell what that means to you.
—-I think I have met the strongest-willed women and families of these women I have ever known. Never giving up like I saw my grandmother do is something that is amazing! I truly believe the will to fight is the reason she had such an amazing full life through all of her treatment.
You have been shocked by all of the women that have had breast cancer. Tell us about that.
—-Yes I have met young women on the road that look like they could be in high school that tell their stories of being diagnosed very young. I am proud to see the “pink ribbon” tattoos showing they are survivors!
How good does it make you feel that you are helping through your music?
—-This is the single most rewarding thing I have done in my career! It is amazing to see that some small little song can bring some hope and encouragement to the thousands of people affected by breast cancer. I feel so blessed to be able to have a tiny part in an organization that has helped so many!
Your message to all fans is:
—-Do something you love with your life, be passionate about the life you’re given, and surround yourself with people that inspire and support you! Do something to make a difference!

I have stage 4 BC and have been on chemo for 4 years now, but you have to keep fighting and never give up!
