Some great ideas. A pot luck is my favorite way of throwing a party on a budget. Most people bring a bottle to my parties, so that's not a big issue as long as I have a core supply of drinks ready. Excellent tips here. There is no need to go overboard on expensive extras for your party. The reason to have a party is to visit and have fun, not admire the expensive invitation or extravagant decorations.
